In the story,  Hamlet thinks about killing Claudius while he is praying, Hamlet doesnt know that claudius isnt really praying, he wanted Claudius to go to hell and he thought if he killed him while he was praying he would go to heaven.

This picture is a ghost symbolizng hamlet’s murdered father, Old king hamlet has a major part in this story, he watches over Hamlet throughout his journies.

 

 

Thia photo portrays Hamlet in many ways, the skull to me symbolizes his dad’s ghost, as if he is talking to something thats not real. Hamlet is a really good book and i enjoyed reading it in class.

This play shocked many traditionalist because of the tragedies of Shakespeare.  He made this story seem like you were in the play and you knew exactly how he they felt, it drew the audience closer to the play. A lot of material which is conventional Hamlet text is missing from the picture, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern weren’t even in this play along with many other minor characters.  Eileen Herlie made the queen part vibrant, she does a exsquisite job of showing the heartache of a ruptured attachment to her son.  Norman Wooland(Horatio), Basil Sydney(king), Felix Aylmer(polonius), Terence Morgan(laertes) all were blessed.  The grim and majesic setting for an uncommonly galvanic film.

 

 

I’ve always heard a acorn bring good luck and it helps you live a long life.  Acorn’s also keep lightning out if you leave one on the window.

Friday the 13th is also a superstiton,  i found some random facts about it here, some of these facts are very weird.

-Many airports skip the 13th gate.

-Airplanes have no 13th aisle.

-Italians omit the number 13 from the national lottery.

Birds mostly symbolize death.

A bird in the house is a sign of death.

If a robin flies into a room through a window, death will shortly follow.

This superstiton was also used by one of my most favorite authors, Edgar Allen Poe, the story was “The Raven” You can see how a bird as a superstitous thing in that poem.

The real renaissance man of today to me is Obama.  He has many plans to change america for the better, and i think that could be classified as a movement. He’s going to open the eyes of many american people and show them that he is really wanting to make america a better place to live in.  Many of his acts already are bold but are very much needed. Also, Chandler is a renassiance man.

This bird is amazing! it can mimic things and it has to be the coolest animal in the world. I think this bird must be very smart because of all the characteristics it has.  The best part about this bird to me is how it can just hear a random noise and mimic it right on the spot.  It probably doesnt have much trouble finding a mate. I could see this bird just walking around the forest all day mimicing sounds it hears. This plays a huge impact on the bird’s natural life, human’s are probably cutting down trees and taking the enviroment away from the birds.

I really enjoyed this activity, i got 11 out of 20 of them right, so i didnt do to bad.  People might look at me and think i have an irish background, or a brazilian one. I dont know why but people have come up to me and asked me if i was from brazil. I enjoyed this activity and i look forward to learning my about my family history.

Is self- image important?  To me, I think that it has alot to do with the person you are. If you have a good self-image, then you have a good attitude. But it also can  be bad. The way the media portrays men and womem alike could make anyone feel bad about them selves. A persons body image is how they see themselves, and it is sometimes much more different than the way other see them.  Today it doesn’t seem acceptable to be “over-weight” or “chunky” ,the younger generations see the need to be thin- even if it means being unhealthy.
